Protecting Ancestral Land Through Living Tradition

Amarun Kucha is an Indigenous-led initiative founded by Kichwa curandera Samay Taki to protect ancestral lands in the Ecuadorian Amazon through ceremony, cultural preservation, and community stewardship.

Here you’ll find traditional ceremonies, handcrafted jewelry, and Amazonian medicines. Every purchase and every ceremony helps protect Samay’s ancestral territory, supporting land conservation, food sovereignty, and the continuation of Indigenous wisdom for future generations.

Música

As an Indigenous Kichwa singer-songwriter, Samay shares original music inspired by the Amazon, ancestral teachings, and the protection of Mother Earth. She is available for performances throughout Vancouver and the surrounding area until mid-September 2026.
